Research Interests:

I am a computational physicist passionate about algorithms, high performance computing and software engineering. My research interests cover a broad range of areas in condensed matter physics, numerical methods and computer science. In physics, my research focuses on the understanding of materials properties within the context of statistical mechanics and first principles calculations. I specialize in classical and quantum Monte Carlo methods for computer simulations, canonical and microcanonical analyses for the study of thermodynamics, structural and phase transition processes. In computer science, I am interested in algorithm design and optimization, numerical calculation techniques, high performance computing, machine learning and programming models.
