Near-Contact Binaries of the

Northern Sky Variability Survey

 

In our analysis of ROTSE data, we have identified 248 new variable stars of the Near-Contact Binary type.  Using various Fortran programs, we were able to identify the period and epoch as well as many other identifying characteristics of the stars.         We cross referenced our data with that of databases such as SIMBAD, ASAS, and SDSS.
          All this information and more is collected below.  In our studies, we also came across 14 NCB stars that have two or more NSVS light curves. These stars are placed in the same cells on top of each other for your viewing pleasure. We have also provided links to the light curves for every star.
