Examinations

Each semester exam will have 25 multiple choice questions.
The final exam will have 50 multiple choice questions, evenly distributed over the entire semester.

Grading policy

Your course average will be computed from the eight in-class exams and the final exam as follows: Each in-class exam counts 10% and the final exam counts for the remaining 20%.
You must take at least six of the eight in-class exams and the final exam to pass the course.
If you miss a semester exam, the final exam will replace it. There are no make-up exams! Be cautious about skipping exams. You can only miss two and you must provide me with a written excuse stating the reason for missing the exam.
For those who take all five in-class exams, the final exam will replace up to your lowest two in-class exam, if they are lower than the final exam score.
Raw aggregate scores over the semester and final exam periods will be curved so the average class grade is approximately 85.
Those are the rules and they will not be changed under any circumstances!
