Title:

Cellular Train and Front Instability in Forced Oscillators

I will introduce the finite difference method, the most frequently used technique for simulations of partial differential equations. Parallelization of the method in two dimensional space will be discussed. Recent results obtained using this method for study of externally forced limit cycle oscillators will be demonstrated. A new type of pattern in reaction diffusion systems called cellular train, and nowel type of instability of front solution will be presented.
