Title:
"Critial Behavior of the Three-Dimensional Compressible Ising Model with Antiferromagnetic Interactions under Constant Volume Conditions: a Monte Carlo Study"

Abstract

The critical behavior of a three-dimensional compressible Ising antiferromagnet under constant volume conditions is investigated by extensive Monte Carlo simulations in the so-called semi-grand-canonical ensamble. Elastic forces between spins are introduced by the Stillinger-Weber potential.  Energy parameters are chosen to favorite anti-parallel spin ordering analogous to the antiferromagnetic coupling in the Ising Hamiltonian.  All the quantity analyzed strongly indicate the system to remain in the universality class of the standard three- dimensional Ising model, in contrast with theoretical predictions.
