UGA Internal Funding Opportunities
THE PARENTS
AND FAMILIES FUND
Requests for grants should include the following:
- One- to two-page letter specifying the need for funding;
- Explanation on how this funding will benefit current undergraduate students at UGA;
- A time line projecting the proposed event/program's development. Projects funded must occur or be initiated no later than June 30, 2002.
- A budget, with the portion of the event/program to be funded by the Parents & Families Fund clearly designated.
- No more than three pages of supporting material or letters of support may also be submitted.
- Requests may be mailed, faxed, or sent electronically.
The Parents & Families Fund is supported by annual gifts from parents and family members of current undergraduate students attending the Univeristy of Georgia.
The Parents & Families Association will accept no proposals after the March 15, 2001 deadline.

REPORTING GUIDELINES
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:
Public acknowledgment of funding through the
Parents & Families Fund should be included in any printed programs, reports, or publicity materials. Please use the following single line of text for such acknowledgments: This program is supported in part by the University of Georgia Parents & Families Associateion through gifts to the Parents & Families Fund Parents of all current undergraduate students are solicited for their support of the Parents & Families Fund through the University of Georgia's annual giving campaign. Gifts are to be used to support programs and events benefitting current undergraduate students. FOLLOW-UP REPORT A brief, one-page letter must be submitted following the completion of any program, activity, or event funded through teh Parents & Families Fund. The report should summarize the highlights of the program, attendance, discussion, and any other details that would help illustrate the impact of this program on the University and its undergraduate students.
