Info for PHYS1212 Test No. 4

This Test will not be given this semester. However, the topics listed for this
Test below will be part of the material to be covered on the Final Exam.

Test No. 4 will be held in class on T.B.A. , 11:00am-12:15pm or 2:00pm-3:15pm, resp.

The Test will be open-textbook-only and cover Knight Latest Edition Chapters T.B.A.
to the extent covered in class, specifically the topics

Planck equation, energy quanta/photons, photoelectric effect
matter waves, de Broglie wavelength
energy quantization , energy levels in atoms, hydrogen-like atoms/ions.
composition of atomic nuclei, isotopes, radioactive decays, exponential decay law
mass-energy conservation in nuclear decays and reactions
.
