Spectra of Interstellar Molecules
The students who will work with me will spend time learning about and analyzing spectral data of interstellar molecules. They will be introduced to the theory behind how the lines form, what kind of objects they arise in, and what kind of physical information can be obtained from them. A portion of the course will be devoted to actually looking at data and analyzing it on the machines in room 241C.
